The beginning of love starts with affection, and as it progresses through its stages, it evolves into a form of passion and madness when it reaches great heights. Every level of love is an inseparable part of human life, from which a person continuously learns, and love teaches the etiquettes of life. When love is directed towards an individual, it becomes a means of divine knowledge, and when one's work and art are filled with passion and devotion, it leads to the elevation of humanity and proximity to the Divine. It is love that adorns a person with noble morals, instills the spirit of selflessness and sacrifice within them, grants them sincerity in their mission, and urges them to sacrifice everything for their cause. This paper attempts to explore this concept of love(Ishq) within the philosophy of Shah Murad Khanpuri, who is not only a distinguished Sufi poet of the 1st century but also regarded as the founder of Urdu ghazal. For this paper, an analytical approach has been adopted, and it is hoped that this paper will introduce new avenues of knowledge for readers.
