Abstract

Tazkiyah al-Nafs, or the purification of the soul, is a central concept in Islamic spirituality, aiming at the moral and spiritual refinement of the individual. The life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) serves as the perfect model for achieving this inner purification. His See rah (biography) provides comprehensive guidance on developing sincerity, humility, patience, self-restraint, and consciousness of Allah (taqwa). This study explores how the Prophet’s actions, teachings, and character traits offer practical steps for self-purification. By examining key aspects of his life such as his worship, interpersonal conduct, and response to adversity this paper highlights how embodying the Prophetic example can lead to personal spiritual growth and a morally sound society. The See rah is not only a historical account but also a timeless guide for those seeking inner reform and nearness to Allah.
